Hours Before The Sunrise

A drop of wine
red and fine
down it drops
bearing hopes
feeling no
seeing no
hearing no
evil.

A shade of red
a book unread
somewhat old
and yet untold
the stories in
the tellings in
the wisdom in
a waste.

A feather flies
a crow now dies
plummage black
o’er the shack
so loud a cry
so fine a cry
so young a cry
it’s gone.

A cloud of white
a peaceful sight
the morning comes
over the slums
a coming red
a looming red
a tasteful red
so bright.

O’er the world
so much so old
the days that pass
have nights to catch
and hasty so
and surely so
and coming thus
tomorrow.

The Dust Of Me (old)

Another night, I rise from my grave
Only to find an unknown knave.
He lusts for fame gold and power,
He grovels to the hour
My wrath i unveil to ease my sorry soul,
His head i cut down, and to the moon i howl.

Another knave comes, he wanders from away,
He asks for forgiveness, his sins from him to sway,
I look in his eyes, and see that known flame,
My sword is drawn forth, my passion to tame,
His head i cut off, a whisper in the night,
His body i dispose, away from my sight.

Then stars turn to clouds, the moon to a sun,
The hours i count, my soul soon to be undone,
Alas, a third lad comes, he speaks of the cold,
Of how without love, he has gotten old.
He gives me his life, awaiting his death,
I look into his eyes, and all grows deaf,
His passion is grave, his heart a rotten rack,
His brow full of wrinkles, one would lose track,
My blade fell down, My eyes full of tears,
He stands watching me, and i know he fears.
For If your pain was so much, that makes demons cry,
Your pain you must treasure, your heart you must pry,
Then I turn to ashes, and he writes this on my urn,
“The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return”

Soundless Scream of Old

The rain falls down caressing my skin
Alone I stand before my fallen kin,
To the West there is but death to see
To the East a mirror, and inside me.
North and South, My soul is crying
And in the end I must be dying.
For this loss, the one that I feel
Is of the few lacks that do surely kill.
On my knees I do fall, my hands on my neck
That salvation of choking which I pray to beget
For the spirits of two when combined to one
When united they stay and beloved they stand
‘Tis surely a wonder one’s heart must embrace
Through tears in the eyes or a smiling face
Alas, in darkness my death grip is gone
My weary mind from the weeping undone
For I lost my Muse and the fault is all mine
And the brightest of stars has again lost its shine
Pray, do tell me, why am I alive?
I know in my flesh, to the hells I should dive
For a soul without love is all but fulfilled,
Face it or not, you are still being killed…

I want to be….
The hand that will catch you when you fall,
The arm that you will grip should you fall again,
The shoulder you can cry on and let it all go,
The ear you can talk to and unburden your chest,
The mouth that you will hear the most precious words of,
The lips you will kiss whenever you need it,
The chest you can rest your head on when you’re tired,
The eyes that you can look into when you need to feel secure,
The heart that you will hear skipping a beat whenever you touch it,
The embrace you will have when you need a sanctuary from everything.
I want to be..
Everything for you..
For if you are content, then I am fulfilled.
If you are happy, then I am ecstatic.
If you need me, then I can’t do anything without you.
If you love me, then I adore you the most.

And I want us to be one..

The mirrors of the soul

a restless sea in which I drown,
the bliss of life that is your gown,
the cloudless sky that brings the light,

A cig’s time

Thin smoke, curling and dancing in the aether, lying on the deathbed of its ashtray, each second drawing it toward its final destination, ashes to ashes..
And a weary hand takes it, and lips dry of joy embrace it, and it is again drawn inexorably towards the end.
A tuft of smoke emerges from these same lips, carrying with it the sorrow and solitude of them, feeding on slow death, free in it’s beautiful dance of shapes and dreams, ghostly appearances of people of old and memories of times both good and bad, silver-lined smoke floats towards the damp ceiling, and the mind knows there is no escape.
The dying cigarette is placed again in its pedestal, and now a tear follows it, wetting the ashes and creating mud of gray and black.
The lips cannot close, the hands cannot leave the head unsupported, the chest cannot and will not stop raising and falling, sobbing and crying, letting moans and sighs of pain out of it.
And so it dies, leaving the last thin apparition of smoke, the face of a woman smiling towards the eyes that now weep.

Dance

For Love be the tune, as we sway on the moon,
My heart, it is beating, so fast and so soon

Be it thy grace, that blesses me so,
Or be it the pace, the one we both know?

Passionate eyes, we walk on the skies,
All else has no meaning, no matter, no size

Thy hands as I hold, years and ages grow old,
Eternal our love, a promise of gold

I love thee, I cry, as our lips draw nigh,
A gentle exchange, a breath and a sigh

For do I not breathe, if thou do so too?
Or am I alive, without thy view?

Clouds are the way, together we stay,
My heart and thee, I shall never betray

Ne’er get down, ne’er a frown,
We will dance up here till morrow come round

I love thee my dear, have you no fear,
Ne’er before happiness has brought me a tear.

And part we shall not, by speech or by rot,
Hands held together, what fate has wrought.
